John Wallace’s name is engraved in the Syracuse University record books, as the all-time leader for Points Scored in a Season (845) and Free Throws made in a Season (222). Known as an effective power forward with a steady hand at the foul line and from the parameter, Wallace helped to lead the Orange to an NCAA National Championship in 1996.

Following his record breaking collegiate career, Wallace was drafted in the first round of the 1996 draft by the New York Knicks. He would go on to play 7 seasons (381 Games) in the NBA with the New York Knicks, Toronto Raptors, Detroit Pistons, Phoenix Suns, and Miami Heat.
